This was made for a show that unfortunately never happened to celebrate the greatest series of all times. First season of True Detective is one of my all time favorites. I wanted to create a quiet piece that had a menacing feel to it. Playing off of the occult and satanic themes throughout the show, I wanted to create a loop within Carcosa. The vegetation hiding an upside down cross. With Mathew McConaughey’s character stuck in a circle, he is stumbling upon the remnants of another scene that he created.
